It looks like there\’ll soon be an alternative choice when it comes to picking out that controller you want to make use of from your mobile gaming needs. Evolution Remotes has put a Kickstarter marketing campaign up for a new mobile gaming controller they have developed called the Drone.

With a similar look to the actual Steelseries controller, the Drone comes with all the buttons and joysticks you would want in a game control but in a much more lightweight. Since this is a real Bluetooth controller, it is compatible with both tablets and phones along with the Ouya game console and any other device that accepts Bluetooth connections.

For designers Evolution Controllers also has an SDK available for download for free should you want to include support for the control to your game. The actual controller itself is really durable as well and to show it off the designers have a picture of 1 of them stepping on the thing without breaking it.

The Drone, when it launches with regard to public consumption, will also be available in a variety of colours from Glossy or even Matte black in order to yellow and red. There is also a template available for people to use to create custom skins for their Drone controller.

As of at this time the Kickstarter campaign for this controller is seated at a little over $23.6K with an end goal associated with $30,000. So the company is pretty close to hitting their goal already with 25 day to go still.
