Amazon has introduced a new expansion plan that doesn\’t involve expanding their service to brand new countries but instead expanding their catalog associated with apps and games available through their app store. However, these won\’t be coming in the typical fashion everyone is used to and that is because these will be web applications made using languages like HTML5.
Starting right now Amazon will start accepting HTML5 developed internet applications for sale via their Amazon Appstore. Of course there will also be free ones as well. Currently the selection of titles available is pretty small with only a handful of games and applications right now.
