Recently the old-school Frames per second game DOOM hit its 20th anniversary and to celebrate an mobile version of the original DOOM game has been released onto Search engines Play. Of course we have had DOOM plug-ins available on there for awhile but this happens to be the full original experience ported over for mobile gaming.
While this is the original DOOM game, evidently if you own licensed DOOM games beyond this original one, technology-not only with the app too. This is done using the subsequent steps:
1. Backup doom.wad file from Android/data/com.eltechs.originaldoom/ directory
2. Remove doom.pile file from Android/data/com.eltechs.originaldoom/ directory
3. Duplicate all files along with wad extension (e.g. doom.wad, doom2.wad, etc.) through licensed Doom to Android/data/com.eltechs.originaldoom/ directory
This means you should be able to play any of the DOOM games and expansion through this application. If you don\’t own them, you can just settle for playing the original game after downloading this through Google Play. Doing this will cost you nothing anticipate all the time you\’ll shed playing the original Disaster on your Android device.
The developers behind this particular release are also considering porting other old school video games to Android as well so we will be keeping track of them for future releases.
